About

Amin Ghazanfari received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2008, and the M.Sc. degree in power electronics from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2011. Since 2010, he has been the Senior Research Engineer of the Research and Development Center of Mizan Gostar Rayaneh (MGR) Institute, Tehran, Iran. He is also passionate about his teaching assistantship and being Lab instructor. His research interests include application of power electronics in distributed power systems, microgrid, renewable energy and hybrid power generation systems, and power quality. His current research focuses on the control of an autonomous microgrid considering multi-hybrid power generation systems and renewable energy resources. As a research associate of Power Quality Labratory at Sharif University of Technology, he is currently studying the ways of improving power quality and management of microgrids.
